Which links are affiliate links

Buttons and links that lead to a retailer's product search or product page, such as "See prices", "See this kit" and the kit list in the memory card. Every one of them is labelled. Links to other pages on pcpartguide.com and to the sources named on the methodology page are not affiliate links.

How it affects what you see

It does not. The calculator's results come from the model described on the methodology page and from a dataset that carries no commercial information beyond typical price classes. The part named as "the fix" is the cheapest part in the dataset that lifts your limiting ceiling, whether or not a retailer sells it through an affiliate programme. Price classes are typical street prices at the dataset date, not live retailer prices, and they are not sourced from affiliate feeds.
